Till The End Of The Moon With Bai Lu And Luo Yun Xi Premieres To A Surprisingly Sane Plot Start And Engrossing Acting From Both Leads

Written by John Manyasi (TheButler)

John's deep appreciation for Traditional Kenyan Cuisine was developed at a young age growing up in Nairobi, Kenya, where he was exposed to a variety of foods that would fuel his life long passion for cooking.

I felt that FOE settled the conflicts quite nicely, especially when they added the whole reason behind Hyunsu’s exorcisms. It was absolutely genius, and just went to show that unlike Jiwon’s motto, we cannot trust everything we see. I would like to address the plot holes and perhaps get some insights. I’m sorry if this breaks the cooling-off rule.

I think that he is a really interesting character, actually. He is a fun mixture of looks, positive attitude, charming behaviors, good – for- nothingness and a tough background. I liked all the scenes with him and I actually thought he was way too forgiving. Sure, I did like Jang Mi getting together with Gi Tae, but I don’t think that he would have even noticed her had she not been courted by YR.

I just finished watching Delivery Man and quite enjoyed it even with its “what the heck” moments cause I quite liked the lead actors. I think they both did a decent job portraying their roles, and speaking great voices to listen to, Yoon Chan-young has been added to my list. So, I might check the body swapping gangsta one to watch him in a different sort of role.

Team Dramabeans: What we’re watching

Jang-mi’s mother waits for her surgery, and she’s the only patient in the room who is alone. She sighs at all the other ladies who have husbands, boyfriends, and sons to support them, but pretends disinterest when her own husband shows up. She texts him to leave but he says he can’t read it, because he smashed his cell phone in anger and he wants to talk to her face-to-face. Ki-tae and Jang-mi talk to her mother’s doctor, who’s optimistic about her surgery prognosis.

Also, the OOOOOOAAAOOO background song thing is such a clever addition to the series. The music build really suits the vibe created. The bittersweet ending makes more sense and is somewhat realistic.

Ki-tae stands frozen for a moment, then his eyes roll back and he clasps Jang-mi close and deepens the kiss. Her eyes fly open, then close again – and suddenly they’re kissing with abandon, neither of them caring that everyone is watching. Dad says that Jang-mi is scared of marriage because of her parents’ bad relationship, and we see what happened when she was a child and was left alone. Her parents had a fight and both parents walked out, each of them telling Jang-mi to have a nice life with the other parent. At the store, it’s obvious that Hyun-hee didn’t get much sleep last night, but Jang-mi is hyper and works like a woman possessed.

Where to Watch Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency

Definitely not okay with HyunHee getting HoonDong wasted so that she could sleep with him. And I still can’t tell if she’s genuinely interested in him or not. I really thought she was only interested in his money up until now but this show’s doing such a good job of giving all the characters depth that I want to believe there’s more to it than that. Now I can’t wait to find out what Se-Ah’s deal is because GIRL IS CRAZY. She is blackmailing her ex fiance into helping her have a child so that she can live with someone who is just like her?! I had to pause the show for awhile just to absorb the immense wrongness of all that. JUST NO. I do not blame KiTae for ending things with her, wow.

Favorite Drama Recaps

Despite some of these things I consider to be the shows flaws, it was a pleasure to witness it. My Wednesdays and Thursdays now have a gaping hole with nothing to look forward to on these days. Hyunsu, Jiwon and Eunha got the happy ending they deserved. I noticed no one talked about Jung Mi Sook and her husband. I was hoping to see them in the end and have some kind of closure too. After all, her husband is dying of cancer while thinking his wife died all those years buried somewhere he doesn’t know…

The drama is really a good one and I appreciate that since they are far and in between. Thanks to the writers and subbers. In “I need romance 2” was the first episode in which there was no speculation. And it is perfectly explained it was a fantasy of a script. But he also made it clear that something such had happened in the past. In this one, like I’ve said before, the I-want-you-to help-me-avoid-marriage hook is getting tired and the drama needs to find a new hook.

It’s telling that a number of cable dramas are actually more entertaining than the ones on the main stations. It’s a peculiar trend but as long as us viewers remain the beneficiaries….no complains here. I started off loving it but midway it lost its addictiveness to me and it wasn’t as funny as it used to be. They took too long to have the OTP start dating and the angst and the two leads going around in circles aggravated me to no end.

But when the cop explains that the ajusshi is here because he repeatedly groped a woman, Jang-mi cries in realization, “Ah, I see… I’m a stalker! She wails and then suddenly asks the officer to find a person for her—the mom who invited her over acting like Hoon-dong’s mom, only she wasn’t his mom at all. She asks why someone would do that, and decides she’d like to meet her and find out. This whole drunken interrogation is priceless. It leaves Jang-mi mortified, but she stands her ground and retorts that the bastard is hiding behind friends and his mother, all because he can’t break up with her in person.

I think it would’ve been nice to see Young Seo’s business thriving and maybe some kind of resolution with her cousin. Also not necessary but I thought we’d get more legitdatingsites of a heart-to-heart moment with Ha Ri and Ha Min. His character didn’t really have a point and I feel like it was a missed opportunity to give him a little depth.

From a cinematography perspective, his keeping one arm down make the shot more open to the viewer and allows the audience to see more of what is going on between them. In this second case, although he’s surprised, he still has his wits about him – enough to be able to hold back just a bit. 2- during their engagement, she buys the house next door and hires contractors to bust the wall down between the houses, WITHOUT even discussing it with her fiance, GiTae.
